Many stations are staffed by either Amtrak ticket agents or N.C. Department of Transportation station attendants.

• Amtrak ticket agents are available to assist at the following stations: Cary, Charlotte, Durham, Fayetteville, Greensboro, Raleigh, Rocky Mount and Wilson.
• NCDOT station attendants are available to assist at the following stations: Burlington, High Point, Kannapolis, Salisbury and Selma. 
• Stations in Gastonia, Hamlet and Southern Pines are unattended.
