Uber, an on-demand car service, can be ordered via an app on your smartphone. Simply download the Uber app and input your credit card information, and you will be able to order an Uber to pick you up at the train station. The app allows you to see the closest available car and the driver’s estimated time of arrival. Cost varies, but it’s comparable to taking a taxi.
Lyft, an on-demand car service, allows you to download an app and request a ride from a nearby driver. In this case, the driver is registered by Lyft to use their own personal vehicle. Lyft cars are recognizable by the big pink mustaches they display on the front.
